Event details

Australia's National Loneliness Conference 2026 brings together researchers, policymakers, people with lived experience of loneliness and community advocates to explore strategies for fostering connection across Australia. It is being held in-person at Collins Square Business and Events Centre, Level 5, Tower 2, 727 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008.

The conference takes place on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 October 2026. The main conference starts at 1pm on Wednesday 22 October and will finish at 4.30pm on Thursday 23 October.

Pre-conference workshops are being held on Wednesday morning and are limited to no more than 20 participants each.

There is a social networking event on Wednesday evening from 5.00pm to 6.30pm.

Thursday sessions start at 9.00am and finish at 4.30pm.

We're here to support you and can help connect you with others or find a quiet space if you need it.

The venue is wheelchair accessible and dietary requirements can be catered for.
