We look forward to you joining us and helping to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The ALRC’s proud history features jurists, lawyers, academics and experts working on complex and diverse areas of law, and its prominent alumni include judges, ministers, premiers, governors, and leaders across civil society. I am honoured to lead the ALRC during this milestone year, and look forward to celebrating the ALRC with you in October. The Honourable Justice Mordy Bromberg President, Australian Law Reform Commission
The ALRC’s 50th Anniversary Celebration brings together leading voices from the judiciary, government and academia for a full day of reflection, discussion, and celebration. The day begins with a special one-day conference at the Melbourne Museum’s Treetops Room, featuring keynote speakers and panel sessions exploring the ALRC’s impact over 50 years and more than 100 inquiries. In the evening, join us for the 50th Anniversary Dinner at the elegant RACV City Club, where guests will enjoy drinks, canapés, a seated dinner and reflections from prominent figures. This is a rare opportunity to connect with colleagues past and present and to celebrate the ALRC’s enduring contribution to law reform in Australia.
The Australasian Law Reform Agencies Conference (ALRAC) is a unique event, dedicated to advancing the field of law reform. With a program featuring diverse experts and leaders in law reform, ALRAC is an opportunity for practitioners, scholars and all those interested in law reform to share experiences, expertise and approaches. ALRAC brings together individuals and organisations working in the field of law reform from around Australia and internationally.
