Proud Spirit Awards 2025

Nominations are now open for the following: LEADERSHIP IN SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL WELLBEING, MENTAL HEALTH, AND SUICIDE PREVENTION Recognises and individual who demonstrates exemplary leadership in advocating for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander social and emotional wellbeing, mental health, and suicide prevention, in alignment with the Gayaa Dhuwi (Proud Spirit) Declaration. COMMUNITY IMPACT AWARD Recognises a community-driven individual that has positively influenced social and emotional wellbeing outcomes. LIVED EXPERIENCE CHAMPION AWARD Celebrates an individual whose lived experience has inspired change and advocacy in social and emotional wellbeing, mental health, and suicide prevention. YOUTH INSPIRATION AWARD Recognises a young leader (aged 25 or under) for their contributions to social and emotional wellbeing, mental health, and suicide prevention in their community. CULTURAL PRACTICE AWARD Highlights an individual that has creatively improved culturally responsive care in social and emotional wellbeing, mental health, or suicide prevention services.
